**Dr. Disha Handa Mahendru** Dr. Disha Handa Mahendru is an Associate Professor at the University Institute of Computing, Chandigarh University, with 17 years of professional experience in academia, research, and technology. She holds a Ph.D. in Parallel Implementation of Symmetric Security Infrastructure-Based Techniques, along with an MCA and BCA. Her research interests include Acoustic Analysis, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Parallel Programming, and Agentic AI. She has worked as a DST Women Scientist under the WOS-B scheme of the DST KIRAN programme and received the Women Scientist Award in 2017. Her research contributions include publications in reputed journals and international conference proceedings, along with work in AI, cybersecurity, acoustic signal analysis, and intelligent computing. She has also contributed to research project development, patent innovation, academic mentoring, and institutional coordination. Her professional responsibilities include coordinating academic initiatives, supporting research activities, and promoting women’s development in higher education. Through her diverse academic and research experience, she continues to contribute to technological innovation, interdisciplinary research, and the advancement of computer science.
